Family is everything. My parents gifted me a Western education and lived with compassion for everyone. My late grandmother, who was originally from Kashmir, inspired me to visit the ancient and glorious valley. My late grandfather, who once served in the British Army, encouraged me to learn and write in English. My ancestors were educators: teachers, public servants, principals, and judges. Their stories inspire me to keep learning and sharing knowledge.
